Helga Plankensteiner, who worked for several years with Carla Bley's Big Band, devotes her repertoire to the inventor of jazz, Jelly Roll Morton.
Arrangements for an original formation of three low-register wind instruments: baritone sax, bass clarinet and tuba, reveal surprising aspects of this genius composer. The view, from the tip of Cap-Martin, over the lights of the Bay of Menton, promises a suspended moment.
