Michel Isnard, painter in Gorbio. A versatile artist, he is a painter, poet, draughtsman, author and scenographer, as well as a former mayor of Gorbio.

A self-taught artist, Michel Isnard began painting at the age of 15 and began exhibiting at 19, before moving to Paris to study fine arts. He draws his inspiration from his personal history, his Iberian origins, "with all that Spanish culture contains of mysticism, fatalism and baroque".
