What better way to remember Menton than to learn how to cook with lemon? Here’s our recipe for… Pasta al limone (lemon pasta)! You’ll need

  • Tagliatelle
  • butter
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Menton lemons, of course!
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

Cook the tagliatelle in a pan of boiling salted water.
Squeeze the juice from the Menton lemon and remove the zest.
Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat and add the lemon juice and zest.
Allow the sauce to thicken for 2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
Add the pasta to the sauce with a ladleful of cooking water. Mix well… and it’s ready!
