La Turbie gets into the rhythm of the Telethon with a day of entertainment and sporting challenges! The aim of this charity event is to raise funds to support the AFM-Téléthon and its actions in favor of medical research.
The day's program includes a range of activities for young and old, allowing everyone to participate at their own level while having fun.
- 9:30 am: start of the Adult Duathlon, a challenge combining running and cycling. Participants, either individually or in teams, can compete against each other for the modest sum of 8 euros. To register, call 04 92 41 51 65.
- Walking for adults & children: a circuit around Mont Bataille to discover the surrounding countryside, while supporting a noble cause. Participation: 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children.
- 10:30 a.m.: Children's Biathlon: youngsters will have their moment too, with a run through the village and a NERF shooting range. Registration on site costs 2 euros per child.
Children can also enjoy face-painting and creative workshops led by Charlyne, as well as truck rides with the firefighters, who will also be demonstrating first-aid techniques.
A refreshment stand and food stalls will be set up on site. At lunchtime, local restaurateurs will be offering a special Telethon takeaway menu, so you can enjoy your meal while supporting the association.
Finally, the day will end on a high note with a Beaujolais evening at the Salle Polyvalente from 7pm, where participants will be able to get together for a convivial moment.
