One summer evening, Suzanne, accompanied by her two young children Gaspard and Margaux, pays an impromptu visit to her sister Jeanne. Jeanne is taken by surprise, as they haven't seen each other for a long time.
When she woke up, Jeanne discovered the note left by her sister: "She's not coming back". Jeanne's shock is followed by anger when, at the police station, she realizes that no search can be made for her sister: Suzanne had made the insane choice to disappear...
