Via ferrata outings - Guide office

There are two via ferrata sites in Menton, Riviera & Merveilles. Both are located near villages in the Roya, despite their differences they both offer thrills, adrenaline and wonder.

Commune of Tende

Located above the medieval village, this aerial via ferrata is an ideal course for an initiation. We start the via ferrata with a rather surprising but not very high Himalayan bridge.

The course then increases in height with the first vertical ladder and crosses quietly without any particular physical effort. The most difficult part is just before the monkey bridges on a vertical ladder that is slightly overhanging for 3 metres.

About half way up we cross 3 aerial monkey bridges but without any difficulty. A traverse follows around the cliff to arrive under the first zip line in front of the St Sauveur chapel. This one will take you to the chapel for a short break.Then we will go on to the second zip line before going back down to Tende.

Commune of La Brigue

This via ferrata is an ideal sporting course for a second experience of the activity.

We start the via ferrata with a beautiful vertical section and two monkey bridges. The via ferrata continues with a beautiful succession of aerial monkey bridges with a breathtaking view of the village of La Brigue. At the end of the course, a 20 minute walk will bring us back to the starting point.

To take with you:
You must take a backpack with water, energy bars, windbreaker, sports shoes and sports clothes.
Requirements:
The via ferrata is a sporting activity. Your guide will provide you with the technical keys to evolve on the course. However, you must be physically fit.
