Les Sablettes Beach
A favourite among families!

An exceptional view over the old town, mountains and the Italian coast! Near to Vieux-Port, Les Sablettes beach offers families a gentle slope into the water. This is the largest beach in Menton and its fine gravel, mixed with sand, makes it ideal for little feet to enjoy the shallow waters. Palm trees, pergolas and water fountains create cool spots for the hottest times of the day. A number of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby mean you can enjoy a refreshing swim and take the pressure off the day’s activities. Toilet and shower facilities and lockers are on hand for bathing during the summer months. The lift provides access for everyone from the quay or the Esplanade des Sablettes car park.

The Esplanade des Sablettes promenade along the beach is a wide and pleasant pedestrian area. Lined with greenery, the area comes alive throughout the summer with various events and festivities.
Le Buse Beach
A hidden gem…
in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
Located in the Bay of Cabbé, in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, this small pebble beach is a magical unspoilt location. Far from the road and cars, its crystal-clear waters are delightful. One of the most spectacular features of the beach is its sub-aqua freshwater springs, offering incredibly cool pockets in summer. The spot is well worth a visit and can only be reached on foot from the steps at the station. Walkers can also get there by following the Le Corbusier route, then the Le Buse path. There are also showers available. However, please take care with your little ones as swimming is not supervised in summer.

A vast 700-metre beach in Cabbé cove, next to Le Buse beach, it has everything you need for a great family day out. What’s more, you can bring your pets with you as long as you stay on the West side of the beach. Bathing is supervised in summer.
You can get there by the Chemin du Golfe Bleu, by the steps from the Avenue de la Gare, or along the Le Corbusier path.
Head to the beach by train!
The Cap-Martin-Roquebrune station is a convenient way to get to Le Buse and Golfe Bleu Beaches in Cabbé. Just a few steps and you’re there.
Casino Beach and Marché Beach in Menton
Bathing to suit everyone!
At the end of Avenue de Sospel, the main street running through the town, opposite the Casino, Casino Beach is an ideal spot for everyone to enjoy. Accessible via a ramp for people with reduced mobility, and lifeguard surveillance in high season, it is the perfect place for bathing in complete safety.
Large pebbles and a number of sandy patches provide a place to lay your towels. There is a choice of restaurants in the vicinity to satisfy foodies and lighten your beach bag! Toilet and shower facilities are available for your convenience. An area is also set aside for our four-legged friends…
Marché Beach in Menton stretches from the Jean Cocteau Museum to Menton Casino. With a lovely wide shoreline, its small pebbles will welcome bathers looking for a little more comfort.
Several access points are available for people with reduced mobility including those opposite the Hotel Royal Westminster and adjacent to the Paparazzi Bar. Families will be pleased to know that there are showers and a first aid post (in season) available.
Sunbathing and Leisure Activities
at Fossan Beach
in Menton
Near the Jean Cocteau Museum in Menton, Fossan Beach, which is reserved for non-smokers, offers a number of advantages. A large wooden boardwalk, shaped like an amphitheatre, borders the beach. During the summer season, it is perfect for sun bathing. In low season, the terraces offer an ideal spot for picnickers. During the summer months, families can rest assured that the beach is supervised and enjoy pirate ships, pedal horses and mini go-karts in the vicinity. A paradise for little swimmers! What’s more, if you like to work out, take advantage of the sports facilities!

Carnolès Beach
Great for families
in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
The one-kilometre stretch of pebble beach, which runs from the exit of Menton to the start of Cap Martin, offers a string of coves that are sheltered from the waves. Supervised during the summer period, Carnolès beach is home to a number of famous beach restaurants and private beaches. It is easily accessible from the coastal road, Promenade du Cap as well as Promenade Robert Schuman.
Handiplage: Bathing for everyone!
In Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Handiplage provides assistance for people with disabilities to swim in complete safety. The service operates in July and August by reservation only.
Rondelli Beach
A little one with all the makings of a big one!

Before you reach Port de Garavan in Menton, there is a lovely little sandy beach called Rondelli, an ideal spot for families. Magnificent views over Menton’s old town! With your feet in the water and your head in history! The large adjoining car park makes it easy to get to. In summer, it is supervised and has a first-aid post nearby.
Natural and Unspoilt
Hawaii Beach!
In Menton
Located just one kilometre from Italy, Hawaii Beach, retaining its unspoilt nature, is the last beach in France. A narrow pebble beach, it is a favourite among those who love peace and tranquillity… as well as anglers, whom you’re sure to encounter. While it is supervised in summer, it is still not particularly well-suited to families. There are shower facilities. Some free parking can be found along the road!
Saint-Romain Beach
A small, secluded pebble beach located on the outskirts of Monaco near the Monte Carlo Country Club. The beach is reached via the Avenue Princesse Grace. Parking is limited but it is free. A great choice for those in search of some peace and quiet!
Everyone can get to the beach

Can’t find anywhere to park near the beach? It can be a real challenge! Zestbus transport makes things simple! The service covers the entire coastline from Cap Martin to the Promenade Reine Astrid. Another option is to take the train directly to Cabbé and Le Buse beaches in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (the Cap-Martin stop in Roquebrune) or to Rondelli Beach (Menton Garavan stop).
