For this 2025 edition, the race will take place in Castérino, on Saturday February 22 for the vertical race and Sunday February 23 for the classic.
The Victor de Cessole challenge is back, the most southerly race in the Alps.
The trophy attracts many top athletes.
Saturday 22/02 :- Registration and race number distribution from 4pm to 7pm at the Chalet d'accueil Castérino.
At 5pm start of the vertical climb (450m), with a welcome drink offered at the top.
Sunday 23/02:
- 08:00: Registration and number distribution at the welcome chalet in Castérino
- 08:45: Safety equipment check (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, crampons, etc.)
. 08:55: Briefing (in front of start area)
- 09:00: Start of three races (elite, leisure and discovery)
- 11h10: Arrival of 1st racers
- 12h00: Lunch
- 14h00: Prize-giving ceremony
