On the site of an old gardening shed, newly restored in an ecological way: local wood, insulation with local sheep's wool, sawdust and cork, hot water by thermosiphon, electricity supplied by solar panels, rainwater or spring water. Sustainable agriculture, permacultural approach. Gaia Luna is an ecological site in the heart of the mountains at an altitude of 500m, classified as a Natura 2000 zone, with endemic flora and fauna. We are partners of the Mercantour National Park, with the Esprit Parc label, and the Mercantour Ecotourism Association. We welcome you to an orchard of fruit and olive trees. With the forest as your backdrop, you'll have a cabin just for you, where you can relax away from the noise of the city. A whole area of the garden is dedicated to you. In addition to the conveniences of a shower room in the bedroom, you'll have the option of taking a shower in the open air. Our dry toilets are also outside, overlooking the Mercantour Park. Rainwater is filtered for consumption, then grey water is filtered by plants in a water garden, before joining the vegetable garden. You'll have an open-air stove with barbecue and all the crockery you need to make breakfasts, small dishes or just to heat up. A playful tree house for the little ones and a children's playground are also available on site. Weekly workshops and courses cover a wide range of ecological and arts and crafts themes (check the calendar on our website).
