The Col de Tende tunnel, linking France and Italy in the heart of the Alps, has been accessible again since June 2025, but with modified timetables to facilitate modernization work.
The Alpes-Maritimes Department announces:
Traffic in the Tende tunnel (RD 6204 - Tende), which was previously closed due to a destroyed carriageway, will resume as follows, from 12:00 on Saturday June 28, 2025:
- on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, traffic will alternate between 6:00 and 9:00 am, between 12:30 and 2:30 pm and between 6:00 and 9:00 pm;
- on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Friday August 15, 2025, traffic will alternate between 6:00 and 21:00.
