The climb selected for the Cols connectés 06 program is the one starting from Sospel. With an average gradient of 5.13%, it could be considered a leisurely stroll. Not so. In addition to its constantly changing scenery, starting with a rocky gorge through which the route winds, before ending on a typical Alpine road surrounded by countless conifers, its profile is also highly irregular. Rather rolling in the first part, it steepens considerably at the halfway point, past the village of Moulinet.
