La Voûte du Patrimoine invites you to step through the mirror of time, where different eras converge to tell a shared story.
After a brief introduction dedicated to the pioneers of Menton photography, the exhibition centers on striking pairs of photographs. By juxtaposing archival treasures with contemporary photographs from the PhotoMenton association, this dialogue highlights the historical continuity of our city: while the scenery changes, the city’s soul remains the same.
Beyond the buildings and landscapes, this retrospective places people at the heart of our heritage. It bears witness to the evolution of lifestyles while paying tribute to those who, generation after generation, write the history of Menton through their daily lives.

The event brings together 48 unique images presented in a side-by-side format:
- 24 contemporary photographs captured and selected by members of the PhotoMenton association.
- 24 historical documents chosen by the Heritage Department from the image collections of the Municipal Archives of the City of Menton.
