The complex was built in 1907 by architect Albert Tournaire.

Above the terraces, its two yellow-tiled bell towers stand out against the sky and mountains in the background. Its facade and roofs are the reason why it has been listed as a Historic Monument. The accompanying garden bears witness to the exotic luxuriance appreciated by winter guests.
