Discover two typical villages at your own pace...
- Drive through the old village of Tende on rue de France, then rue Cotta. Marker 53 marks the exit from the village, continue on the narrow road.
- After 15 minutes, take the pedestrian bridge on your left and cross the road. Opposite you, turn right onto the small road towards "Col de Lubaïra" (marker 52), which becomes a forest track.
- After a few hairpin bends, at marker 51, where the post indicating the Col de Loubaira and its altitude (997) is located, follow the path towards La Brigue and the climbing site. You will arrive at marker 45. Turn left onto the main village road and you'll reach the village center. Turn right and you'll reach the train station in 5 minutes.
To extend your hike, why not go as far as Saint-Dalmas de Tende (see Circuit des 3 villages) or Notre-Dame des Fontaines (see Sentier d'interprétation vers Notre-Dame des Fontaines).
