The Intercommunal Media Library of the Four Banal is located in the old Four Banal in the old village of La Turbie. Its team welcomes you all year round for your loans and offers you numerous activities, both occasional and recurrent.

Located on the site of the village’s former communal oven, the La Turbie media library has made harmonious use of its small space. It offers a diverse program of events throughout the year. “Ciné Passion,” “Bébés Lecteurs,” and “Sciences of the Universe” lectures are among the regular events. Wi-Fi access is available upon registration. The La Turbie Intermunicipal Media Library is part of the SIVOM de Villefranche, the Multi-Purpose Intermunicipal Association that brings together the six municipalities in the region: Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Cap-d’Ail, Èze, La Turbie, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Villefranche-sur-Mer. Among its many responsibilities, the SIVOM is particularly active in the field of culture. In La Turbie, Arzu, Sophia, and Thierry take turns welcoming you at the Four Banal Media Library, located at 4 Rue Empereur Auguste. Nestled in the heart of the village’s narrow streets, the media library is a place like no other. Sheltered from the heat, people come here to flip through a magazine, borrow a novel, discover a comic book, or simply enjoy a moment of peace and quiet. When you sign up, you get much more than just access to books. You’ll also enjoy a rich digital offering: audiobooks, the Mozaïk platform with its wide range of cultural content, online courses, and, of course, Cafeyn, which provides access to a wide selection of online news and magazines. The library also offers a book delivery service to the homes of those who are unable to come in person. And then there’s the shared tea room: a welcoming retreat where you can take the time to chat over a hot drink in a peaceful atmosphere that encourages discovery and sharing. Throughout the year, the media library also offers numerous events: workshops, Ciné Passion, Bébés Lecteurs, lectures… There’s something for all ages and interests!
