Maison du Parc national du Mercantour - Roya and Bévéra Valley

Tende's tourist information office is home to a permanent exhibition, conferences, workshops for adults and children and film screenings on biodiversity. The exhibition is a fun place to explore through the senses: - animal footprints - photographs of flora and fauna - plant wall made of felt - tree barks - recognition of animals through hidden doors - local minerals and rocks (Tende green stone, granite, etc.) - thematic maps, the relationship between wolves and herds, natural beauty tips, wool processing, a cross-border linguistic approach... these are just some of the subjects covered. Park staff and nature specialists regularly organise discussions and meetings with the public. The permanent exhibition is open during Tourist Office opening hours. Extended openings are planned for special events.
