Christine and Michel, members of the Association Foncière Agricole- Regroupement de Rénovation des Châtaigneraies, passionately perpetuate the know-how of mountain chestnut groves.
From their carefully cultivated harvests, they create a whole range of generously flavored artisan sweets: chestnut cream, macaroons, meringues, moelleux, cookies and sablés. Each creation celebrates the authentic taste of Roya Valley chestnuts.
At local markets and events, including the famous Christmas and Craftsmen's Market in Granile, their delicious chestnut flour crepes attract gourmets and curious onlookers alike. Naturally gluten-free, they are particularly appealing not only to people with gluten intolerance, but also to all lovers of traditional, comforting flavors.
