  • Stage 2 MTB (e-bike) of the Haute Route du Sel: Mont Saccarello (2200 m.) statue of the Rédempteur - Col des Seigneurs (~2111m.). Tuesday and Thursday reserved for non-motorized vehicles.

  • This second step is chargeable; plan to pay for the toll at the entrance to Monesi. This route can be done on a classic mountain bike (pro level) or on an electrically assisted mountain bike. It is the second stage of the roaming of the Haute Route du Sel (direction La Brigue - Tende) and can be done on the occasion of a simple round trip (climb in 4x4 to the Pas du Tanarel or Mont Saccarello) .

    Departure from the statue of the Redeemer, follow the track which descends and which leaves Mount Saccarello on the left. Go down to the next intersection and turn right to continue down. At the next intersection, turn left towards a sheepfold.

    After the sheepfold continue following the track for several kilometres. A little further on, a gatehouse with a barrier marks the entrance to the paying section. This is where you have to pay or show up with your reservation made online.

    The track continues and crosses the Ligurian Alps Park. Cross the Celle Vieille pass and continue. Last climb of the stage and after a dizzying hairpin that reveals incredible panoramas, descend following the track towards the Col des Seigneurs. The Don Barbera refuge is located just a few meters below. It is possible to eat there and have your VTTAE charged there.
