Description
In a family of undertakers, two sisters and a brother reunite for their mother’s funeral. Since the staff is on strike, they have to handle the funeral arrangements themselves. How will they agree on how to cremate Mom?
But as World War II broke out and the German invasion loomed, Jacques Jaujard, the museum’s curator, organized a secret operation to save the works of art so they would not fall into the hands of the Nazis. He then entrusted Babi with one of the trucks tasked with transporting the masterpieces out of Paris. Babi agreed, on one condition: that his entire family accompany him… This marks the beginning of an epic and perilous family adventure across occupied France, one that will forever bind the fate of the Louvre’s treasures to that of Babi Maklouf’s family…
