This Saturday, the Resto Paysan in Breil is delighted to welcome Nathalie Masseglia for a talk on epidemics in the Roya in the modern era (16th to 18th centuries).
Lecture by Nathalie Masseglia on epidemics in the Roya in the modern era (16th to 18th centuries)
How men and women dealt with epidemics in cross-border areas
We all know Nathalie Masseglia, the rural clown born in the Roya region, who shakes up power relations through her character Mazarine, and the company l'Embrayage à Paillettes.
But on March 28, she'll be trading in her red nose for a serious lecture on epidemics in the Roya, the subject of her master's thesis (1997). Another facet: that of a rigorous historian... and a mysterious Roya!
