Go on an adventure with RivierAlp: 430 km of trails between the Alps and the Mediterranean, on foot or by bike. An itinerary combining varied landscapes, heritage, gastronomy and outdoor activities, for a free and immersive discovery of the region.
Designed for hikers and mountain bikers, RivierAlp invites you to explore an unspoilt, lively, inhabited area between France and Italy. From the valleys of Piedmont to the balconies of the Mediterranean, you'll find Italian elegance, the friendliness of French villages and the common desire to share that unites the two sides of the Alps.
RivierAlp designs long-distance crossings between the Alps and the Mediterranean. It's a cross-border itinerary network between France and Italy, comprising 9 walking routes and 7 cycling routes, totalling over 430 km! Designed to accommodate a wide range of activities - hiking, road biking, mountain biking, gravel biking or VTTAE - you can discover the region at your own pace. You can walk for several days, cycle from one valley to the next, link mountain and sea, or choose a stage adapted to your level. Everywhere, the same spirit: take your time, discover and experience the RivierAlp region.
It's also a great diversity of landscapes at every stage. On the French side, the Roya and Bévéra valleys, all the way to the Menton coastline, offer a spectacular transition to the sea, between hilltop villages, fortified heritage and balconies overlooking the Mediterranean.
Along the way, you'll pass through authentic villages, discover a living heritage, emblematic sites and encounters that give meaning to your journey. Local tables, local products and know-how punctuate the route, inviting you to explore the area in a different way, beyond the itinerary, through its flavors and its stories.
And the adventure doesn't stop there. RivierAlp is also a fantastic outdoor playground, where you can climb, fly, canyoneer in the gorges and multiply your experiences, between effort, discovery and sensations.
