It was built in 1683. We find in this church, works of painters of the basilica Saint Michel de Menton, built shortly before. The facade was painted with trompe-l'oeil decoration by François Zanatta in 2010.

The architecture and interior decorations are an example of the Ligurian baroque style of the 17th century. On the same site, traces of a primitive church have been found. Rectangular in plan and oriented east-west, it has a large central nave with three bays, side chapels and a choir with a flat chevet. It has polychrome wooden sculptures and 17th century paintings attributed to Vento, Puppo and Ferrari, who painted the canvases for the Basilica of Saint Michael in Menton, which was built shortly before.
