First part on a little traveled road, then descent into the undergrowth, through a forest of hundred-year-old chestnut trees.
- Cross the old town of Tende. On the right after the collegiate church, go up to the stopover "Les Carlines" (marker 64). At marker 65, continue by road towards Speggi.
- After a few switchbacks, tag 342 indicates the “Chemin des bois”. You continue on the mountainside to the 347 marker. Leave the path flat after the bridge to descend to St-Dalmas de Tende.
- You arrive on the road, which you descend 300m to reach the intersection of the road towards Castérino then the station, 150m on the left.

Possibility of returning to Tende by bus or train.
