Inaugurated in 2013, it helps supply a solidarity economy, maintains social ties, conviviality and the exchange of knowledge between generations, notably through vegetable gardening workshops.
Through its Centre Communal d'Action Sociale, the town has chosen to embrace the social economy and... grow its own garden.
Inaugurated in 2013, the garden not only supplies the community economy, but also fosters social cohesion, conviviality and the exchange of knowledge between generations, notably through vegetable-gardening workshops.
In choosing and setting up this project, the Beausoleil CCAS team has set itself the objectives of promoting social integration, food aid and balance, environmental awareness, the development of social life and links between parents and children, and more generally between generations.
It is also a source of harvests to supply the shelves of the social grocery store with fresh fruit and vegetables.
All year round, the Centre Communal d'Action Sociale offers workshops and activities for a wide range of people (C.C.A.S. beneficiaries, children from the Leisure Center, young people from the Youth Service, etc.) on the art of vegetable gardening, DIY and gardening.
