It was a meeting with Jean Marais in 1984 in Aubagne that gave Stéphane Montalto a passion for ceramics. Meilleur Ouvrier de France since 2011, he has participated in many restorations and art creations in our region and around the world.

In 1998, he moved from his studio in Menton to Roquebrune Cap Martin. He was inspired by the great ceramists of the last century, of whom there were many on the Riviera, to use both their techniques and their creations. Mr Montalto also offers ceramics courses. Contact him for more information.
