Description
The restoration of dry stone walls is an important issue in maintaining the landscape in its traditional state. These workshops are carried out by a professional mason.
Emblematic of our landscapes, the dry-stone walls that form the restanques are modest structures. Nevertheless, they conceal an ancestral construction technique that requires no binding agents or mortar. They combine both landscape and environmental knowledge.
Their construction is a know-how that the French Riviera Community wishes to protect and pass on.
Co-financed by the Région Sud - Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur & the European Union via the FEADER fund.
Participants must bring safety shoes or hiking boots, cap, picnic, water and gloves (for safety reasons, children are not admitted to the training courses).
