Festival les Baroquiales

This year's festival program revolves around G.F. Handel's extraordinary oratorio Alexander's Feast. An emblematic work in which celebration, music and poetry come together in a Baroque fireworks display centered on two mythical figures: Alexander the Great and Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. Under the generous and passionate direction of Jean-Sébastien Beauvais and his ensemble LA CHAMBRE, with its soloists and orchestra, this concert will also be the fruit of a 5-day vocal workshop at the Sanctuaire de Laghet, in the Nice Trinité area, offering participants, as every year, the experience of plunging into the expressive and theatrical richness of a monumental work in an exceptional setting.
