The Corvo summit (1525 m) dominates the surrounding area, and eagles can be seen soaring over the erosion-ridden bars of the southern slope, with their numerous nesting cavities.

Just a stone's throw from the famous Vallée des Merveilles, the secretive Céva valley, where you can hear the murmur of the waterfalls drowned in the greenery, with its charming hamlets of alpine barns, has preserved its pastoral atmosphere of bygone days.
Itinerary :
From the hamlet of Bergue Inférieur (863 m - b.212), take the path that runs alongside the houses slightly uphill from the road, disregarding the line that supports a feeder pipe, and climb gently towards the secret Bergue valley (b.213).
Climb steadily through the undergrowth, crossing the ruined barns of Ubac (1,208 m), then winding tightly through the forest to reach the Col de Tate (1,450 m - b.214).
Quickly reach the nearby cime de Corvo (1,525 m) on the left. After this short outward and return journey, follow the marked route from the pass around the summit and its foothills on the west side to find the Céva trail (b.215) at 1,200 m, which you follow to the left.
After the Amatte barns (b.216), cut two switchbacks, pick up the track again for 500 m and leave it again (b.217) to return to Bergue Inférieur (b.218) via a slightly downhill traverse under the Corvo ridge and the Brecs bars.
