An internationally renowned painter, Michel Abbatangelo has lived and worked in Menton for 25 years, where he has set up his studio at 19 Quai Bonaparte. Today, his work can be found in numerous art collections around the world.

With a career spanning more than 50 years, Michel Abbatangelo has built up a rich and coherent artistic career, marked by the exploration of multiple plastic languages. This research has given rise to a singular personal style, which he defines as an Ethical Metaphysics, at the crossroads of color, landscape and philosophical reflection.
A landscape painter and colorist, he occasionally passes on his knowledge through educational activities. A tireless traveler, his work has been enriched by numerous international experiences: he has exhibited in several European countries as well as in Africa, and has produced pictorial works in Asia.
