The cutler Alessandro Simonetti
Every craftsman has his own credo. For Alessandro Simonetti, it’s the knife! He masters the rigorous art of cutlery to perfection: from forging to assembly, including the manufacture of his own handcrafted damascus. From kitchen knives to hunting knives, each piece is unique and cut from a wide variety of woods and horns. Colors, shapes and techniques: he’s a true Swiss Army knife in his field!

In her painting and sculpture studio, Sylvia Rhud uses her nimble fingers and sharp charcoal to shape her works. Textures and nuances, she promises us a work full of finesse. Sometimes dark, sometimes colorful, and always full of meaning, what will your interpretation of each work be?

The Terre de Verre workshop
Creating and restoring stained glass, fusing glass and painting, Adeline Rincent works the fragility of glass in the most beautiful of ways in her Terre de Verre workshop. Passionate and fascinating, she’s happy to share the ins and outs of her art, where beauty lies in the details. A visit to her studio is also an opportunity to treat yourself to a beautiful souvenir! In all transparency, we’re crazy about Tiffany lamps.
If you’d like to try your hand at the delicate art of glassmaking, come and make your own decorative object or piece of jewelry. Or perhaps you’d prefer to take part in a stained glass workshop? Don’t forget to book!

Menton earthenware
Apron on and sticky clay in hand, Marie Hélène Roudier is ready to create wonders. Armed with her legendary dexterity, and a healthy dose of creativity, she fashions Faïences Mentonnaises… The fruit of a true tradition! She confides in us that she has taken up the torch from Eugène Perret-Gentil, who was already decorating Menton’s lemon ceramics in 1896. Here, time passes, talent is passed on… But excellence never fades!
