Our territory

Located at the south-eastern tip of the Alpes-Maritimes, along the borders with Italy and the Principality of Monaco, the French Riviera stretches over an exceptional territory, from the shores of the Mediterranean to the peaks of the Mercantour massif, up the Roya and Bévéra valleys. From Menton, the center of the French Riviera, the urban communities of the coast give way to the villages of the Moyens and Haut Pays.

The Menton, Riviera & Merveilles tourist office covers 15 communes: Beausoleil, La Turbie, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Menton, Gorbio, Castellar, Sainte-Agnès, Castillon, Sospel, Breil-Sur-Roya, Moulinet, Saorge, Fontan, La Brigue and Tende.

The diversity of its landscapes makes it a unique and precious mosaic. A superb, fragile and authentic territory.

Our manifesto:is very real

It’s a garden. An abrupt, wild and absolute nature. Certain species have chosen to live only here. In these original places, in the heart of the sacred mountains.

It takes time to appreciate. It’s not easily revealed. At the top of a mountain, behind a path, tucked away in a valley… this land offers itself only to those who take the trouble to discover it.

It’s a vibrant land, where nothing is set in stone. It awakens bodies and revives energies. Here, stories are told by the thousands and encounters are unforgettable. It’s a rare gem. Those who live here would like to keep it a secret, while those who discover it leave spellbound.

Le Pays des Merveilles is magnetic. Grandiose yet fragile. In balance. It’s a wonderland because it opens the door to a new kind of tourism. Reasonable, humane and peaceful.
